June Supper Club

This month, Supper Club meets on Friday, 27 June 2014, 7:00pm, for another wonderful evening of great food by Chefs Samm and Erika of Spice! The location is still undetermined, and we will let you know as soon as we pin down numbers and space availability. Of course, regardless of location, we will have excellent red and white wines available for $10 per bottle. Or BYOB.

You can RSVP for June’s Supper Club one of two ways:

1. you may use the RSVP form to the right on this website. Or, 

2. you may RSVP using  Meal Sharing where you can also view Samm and Erika’s exciting summer menu for June‘s Supper Club.

Next month, we will be migrating to Meal Sharing for all Supper Club RSVPs so be sure to take a look at how it works for future reference and set up your profile now. It’s a very cool way of meeting up with people around the City and around the world for good food and hospitality. You may be inclined to join other Meal Sharing events.

May Supper Club begins using Meal Sharing

The last two Supper Clubs have meet in a diner’s home because of construction at Hyde Park Union Church which will continue through the summer. Both evenings were wonderful, intimate, cordial and comfortable. And Chefs Samm and Erika’s meals were, as always, hyperlocal, hyperfresh and delicious!

This month we will be meeting for good food, good conversation and good company on Friday, 30 May 2014, at 7:00pm. The location is still undetermined, and we will let you know as soon as we pin down numbers and space availability. Of course, regardless of location, we will have excellent red and white wines available from Binny’s courtesy of Gregory for $10 per bottle. Or BYOB.

You can RSVP for May’s Supper Club one of two ways:

2. you may RSVP using  Meal Sharing where you can also view the menu for May’s Supper Club.

April Supper Club promises a lovely spring dinner

This month we’re back at Hyde Park Union Church for a spring themed dinner and hoping for spring finally to arrive.
Hyde Park Supper Club meets FRIDAY, 25 April, 7:00pm, at Hyde Park Union Church, 5600 S Woodlawn Ave (north entrance).  Dinner is $25 per person and, of course, Gregory of Binny’s will offer great red and white wines for only $10 per bottle. Or BYOB.
Supper Club has been fully booked for the past five months running. Get your RSVP in as soon as possible by completing the form in the right hand column. Enjoy another great evening of good food, good conversation and good company at Supper Club. Just  complete the RSVP form to the right.
We will send a confirmation email 2-5 days after we receive your RSVP for Friday’s dinner. If you think you RSVP’d but have not received a confirmation email within the week, please reply to this email immediately.

March Supper Club meets on Saturday, 29 March

Hyde Park Supper Club meets next on SATURDAY, 29 March, 7:00pm, at Hyde Park Union Church, 5600 S Woodlawn Ave (north entrance). Supper Club was fully booked for the past four months running.  Be one of the chosen and RSVP by completing the form to the immediate top right. All are welcome.

This month, the theme is international Jewish cuisine, celebrating the flavors of Purim (Jewish Mardi Gras) and Passover (the Festival of Freedom). Chefs Samm and Erika will treat you to a home-cooked meal your bubbe (grandmother) would approve of. And, of course, Gregory of Binny’s will offer great red and white wines for only $10 per bottle. Or BYOB. L’chaim!

Chefs Samm and Erika in the City

Supper Club’s chefs Samm and Erika (Spice!) were recently touted by NewCity as one of the top 5 eats at the City’s farmers markets. Congratulations and well-earned, Samm and Erika!

And Samm and Erika are serving lunch at Block Thirty-Seven every Thursday and Friday, 11:00am – 2:00pm, through 4 April. Whether you work downtown or are out shopping, enter Block Thirty-Seven on the North Dearborn Street entrance, across from Daley Plaza, and enjoy a freshly prepared, delicious lunch.

You also will find Samm and Erika and their delicious fare at the indoor Logan Square Farmers Market every Sunday through 30 March, 10:00am-3:00pm, 2755 N Milwaukee Avenue, at Spaulding.

Also, Samm and Erika have joined mealsharing.com, a social, food and cultural exchange. You too can host or join others for supper.
